How Are Dentures Made?

It will take several appointments for your dentures to be crafted. To start, your dentist will create impressions of your jaw. A model will be made, colour-matched, and fitted to your teeth. Lastly, the final cast will be made. When you receive the dentures, any necessary adjustments will be made, and the process is complete.

Denture Maintenance

Once you have received your dentures, you’ll need to care for them properly. Your dentures should be cleaned with a non-abrasive denture cleaner daily. Avoid using toothpaste, as it is abrasive and can cause damage to the dentures. Your dentures will also need to stay moist to keep their shape, so place them in water or a denture-soaking solution overnight.
